I can't imagine how this tastes. At that level of alcohol it would be dangerous to drink the whole thing, and at that price you couldn't afford to do it by yourself anyway. I think I've read about this particular beer before and I wasn't too impressed with the sound of it. As much as I like highly alcoholic beers (they have a taste you wouldn't believe) I think anything beyond 20% might be pushing it. Then again I've never had anything greater than 18% (to my knowledge) in beer so who knows. In any case it certainly isn't a session beer, nor is it an available one since it sold out quickly after only 80 or so bottles were produced.

Been speaking a lot of German lately, it's been pleasing me. My final semester at Grinnell has been going smoothly, I only have one real class to speak of (German Senior Seminar) and even that isn't too intense. It turns out I have a talent for coming up with fun activities for teaching Latin, despite not knowing any Latin. I'm not sure how this came about but I'm not going to start learning any Latin now. That would be silly.

Also I found a ton of good music blogs to read about metal and free jazz. The two are very closely linked in my head which is good because there's this band I found today called Shining which actually plays black metal and free jazz together. They're really good.
